Service Description

Early literacy is a predictor of later reading. This series consists of 4 trainings that focus on language and literacy development and parent engagement. This local initiative  will prepare both early educators and parents with the skills needed to improve the vocabulary of young learners. This series is designed to tackle the "Word Gap" faced by many children entering kindergarten who may have had limited early literacy support. The Say & Play trainings can be taken individually or as a bundle.
